ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 : Khushhalibank and FAST National University, have provided 40 teams of students from all over the country with the platform to demonstrate their debating skills at the FAST University Debating Championship (FUDC’10).The FUDC’10 will be held from October 29 to 31 and is based on the British Parliamentary Style of Debating. While debating will be the primary focus of the event, social events like concerts and a formal dinner will allow the participants to have laid back evenings after healthy debating rounds, said a press release issued here on Thursday. Khushhalibank has supported various initiatives in the past through which its dedication to identify and nurture future leaders has been witnessed time and again. The most prominent illustration of this can be seen through the scholarships Khushhalibank has offered to students in all leading universities of the country. Through such sponsorships, Khushhalibank reinforces this commitment, with the promise to support such educational and personality building forums. “We are proud to be a part of such an initiative which allows us to encourage and recognize the untapped potential of our youth as we have done so in the past through our scholarship program”, Ghalib Nishtar, President Khushhalibank said. The three day event will include scintillating debates between teams from all over Pakistan over various issues. The event will include workshops for the first-timers and debating sessions being judged by expert adjudicators.
